Kentucky Personnel Cabinet – Career Opportunities
The Personnel Cabinet advertises job vacancies via social media, based on an assessment of agency need; however, agencies are also highly encouraged to submit requests. Requests should be sent to
Rebekah.Singleton@ky.gov and should include job title, requisition number, work county, and list any required experience.

COS / Featured Job:
Do you have a hard-to-fill position? Would you like to generate special interest and hopefully gain a larger, more qualified, candidate pool for a position? Highlight it as a “Featured Job!”
After a position is created in COS, the requisition creator needs to email
KatharineA.Gipson@ky.gov and ask that the job be featured. The position(s) will be listed on the “Search and Apply” page of the Personnel Cabinet’s Careers website. The landing page will highlight the position and provide links to additional information, to the “Search and Apply” page, and to the class specification.
Careers Website / Position Spotlight:
A “Position Spotlight” highlights an employee who holds a specific title and gives some perspective into the position from an individual standpoint. The web page features a picture of the employee or the jobsite, a quote from an employee(s), and other information that will generate interest from applicants. If the agency does not wish to highlight an employee, the facility can be highlighted. This type of page requires background information on the position, the individual or the facility, but gives applicants a more personal, in-depth view of the position and what will be expected. Please provide information at least one week in advance of the position posting. If you would like to spotlight a position, complete and submit this
The Division of Career Opportunities participates in a variety of recruiting events throughout the year. Review the
calendar of upcoming events that DCO will be attending.
